Statistics and fitting sometimes causes my brain to shut down. Today was mostly spent working, ending with the grand finale of trying to fit some data against my guess of a probability distribution. This took altogether too much braindead time, but luckily Mylanda came to the rescue and bounced ideas for me enough that something made it through!
So with that, my simulator is actually useful, I can generate rate constants from the simulation data and compare it to real data (and find out it's all completely wrong? I hope not, but haven't tried it yet.)

Even if it doesn't match the data at all, it sounds like it's already a decent start. You can always make subsequent refinements.
